Terms and Conditions
- In case the monthly salary is not credited into the account for more than 3 consecutive months, the special features offered under the said Account stands withdrawn and the account shall be treated as a Normal Savings Account under our standard charge structure and Avg. Monthly Balance (AMB) is required to be maintained, and all charges shall be levied and applied as applicable to Normal Savings Bank accounts. Click Here to Know More
- Complimentary Insurance will be live from 60th day of customer on boarding i.e., Account opening/ scheme change date provided initial salary credit is observed in account.
- Customers in the age group of 18 – 65 will only be covered.
- Only the primary account holder will be eligible for the complimentary services offered in the scheme.
- Insurance coverage will be automatically renewed every year if the customer is maintaining the GovEarn eligibility criteria.
- The Federal Bank holds the discretion to withdraw this feature from GovEarn salary account or modify the features of the complimentary insurance coverage at any point in time without notice to the Customer. For activating the complimentary features, Bank will be sharing the details of the primary holder, including the Name, Customer ID, Account Number, Mobile Number, Email ID, Address and Nominee Details with the service provider concerned.

- Policy Tenure: 1 Year
- Basis of Sum Insured: Individual
- Age Group: 18 to 65 years
- For Accidental Death coverage, the following condition should be fulfilled for Step 1: Base Cover: Rs. 500,000/- per card by doing one ATM / POS / e-commerce transaction up to 50 days prior to the date of loss.
- Step 2: Accelerated cover up to Rs. 9,500,000/- (Total of Base + Accelerated to be Rs. 10,000,000/- max). For every additional POS / e-commerce transaction carried out through the Primary Debit Card 365 days prior to the date of loss, sum insured increases by Rs. 200,000/- per transaction.
- Claim Intimation Timelines: within 30 days from the date of occurrence of the event
- Air Accident is covered only if the Airline tickets are purchased using the above mentioned cards.
- Police, defence, and other armed forces are not covered.
- Pilots and air-crew and not covered.
