Card comes with a validity of 5 years subject to underlying account status. Daily usage limits up to 10 Lac or the available limit on the underlying account whichever is lower. A Credit Card is a physical or virtual payment instrument issued by banks linked to the underlying ODCC account. It allows cardholders to make payments for purchases at POS / Online up to the available limit on the underlying account.
Federal Bank Fed StarBiz Credit Cards are offered on RuPay and Visa network.
- Linked to OD/CC Account: The Fed StarBiz credit card is linked to the customer's existing Overdraft (OD) or Cash Credit (CC) account with limits up to ₹50 lakhs, providing seamless integration with their business finances.
- Mode of transactions: Supports POS, Ecom and Tap and Pay Transactions.
- Enhanced Security: Benefit from advanced security features such as tokenization and encryption, ensuring safe and secure transactions.

- Daily Usage Limits: Customers can perform transactions up to ₹10 lakhs per day or the available limit on the underlying account, whichever is lower.
- No Separate Statements: All card transactions will reflect in the underlying OD/CC account, eliminating the need for separate card statements.
The total card limit is the total sanctioned limit on the underlying ODCC account. Available card limit refers to the current balance limit on your underlying ODCC account.
A credit card PIN, or personal identification number, is typically a four-digit code you use to verify that you're the owner of a credit card. Like a signature, it's used to verify your identity and helps protect you against fraud.
You can generate your Fed StarBiz credit card PIN by using any of the following options.
- Using soft PIN option at Federal Bank ATM
Insert/Swipe your Card in ATM. → Select 'Soft PIN/PIN Change' Option → Select 'Soft PIN' option → Select Generate a New 'Soft PIN' option → Get 'Soft PIN' in your mobile number registered with the Bank, which is valid for 24 hours. → Select 'Proceed To Set PIN' option → Enter 'Soft PIN' received in your mobile. → Enter new PIN that you wish to set. Confirm the PIN once again and submit. → Success/Failure message will be displayed upon successful completion of the above steps. Remember your new PIN for all your card transactions
- Using Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System
Dial 04846716700 or 04842846699 from your mobile number registered with the Bank and press 1 to generate card PIN → Enter
the last 6 digit of your Card number → Enter the date of birth in DDMMYYYY format → Enter the expiry date of your card in MMYY format → Enter a new 4-digit PIN → Re-enter the new 4-digit PIN.

A card verification value or a CVV number is a 3-digit code printed at the back of your credit card. It acts as an additional security layer protecting your data during online transactions. Cardholders must protect their CVV and not share it with anyone to avoid falling prey to cyber frauds.

Your credit card has a symbol on it that looks like the ‘wifi’ symbol, which indicates that it is a Contactless card. It helps you to make payments without having to physically swipe or dip the card, for transactions up to Rs.5,000. All you have to do is tap the card against the card reader (the card reader which is enabled for contactless payments), and the transaction gets executed. It provides convenience and faster way of making a payment.
You can make payments through the contactless mode at all the merchants having NFC enabled POS machines.
To make a contactless payment, please follow the below steps:
- Look for the contactless payment symbol (Wifi / Paywave symbol) at checkout.
- Tap your card on the machine
- Once the machine beeps or a green light is seen, it means that your transaction has been successful.
- If your transaction amount is greater than Rs.5,000, you will need to provide your PIN for the transaction to go through.
You need to apply for the renewal card basis the underlying OD CC account status and its limits not exceeding 50 Lacs.
To change your communication address in your Credit Card account you can place a request for the underlying ODCC account facility.it shall be auto updated in the card.

To Activate your Physical Credit Card for POS/ Contactless you need to first Set the PIN.

To manage transaction limits (Domestic):

This transaction might have declined as contactless transaction might have been disabled in your Card controls. Activate the same via Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System: Dial 04846716700 or 04842846699 from your mobile number registered with the Bank and try the transaction again.
Dial 04846716700 or 04842846699 from your mobile number registered with the Bank and press 2, Enter the date of birth in DDMMYYYY format, Enter the last 4 digits of your Card number, Enter the expiry date of your card in MMYY format. Press 1 for enabling ECOM and press 3 for enabling Contactless transactions.
Login to FedNet → Card Services → Manage Card → Manage Card → Enable Domestic Contactless
The card limit is a function of your underlying OD CC account. The OD CC account limit can be increased basis the regular process.

Not applicable. As all repayment is to be done in the underlying OD CC account.
A replacement fee of Rs 225 + applicable taxes will be charged in case of reissue/replacement.

You can make payments through the contactless mode at merchants having Near Field Communication (NFC) enabled POS machines. This facility enables payments without dip/swiping the card into the POS machine.
Max limit for contactless payment is Rs.5000 without PIN, and Rs.50000 with PIN.
