In the breathtaking setting of God's Own Country, the Federal Bank proudly introduces #GodsOwnMarathon, a running event like no other. The grand launch ceremony of Federal Bank Kochi Marathon 2025 was held on November 28, 2024, at the Vivanta Ernakulam Hotel, Kochi. Hon'ble Justice Devan Ramachandran of the High Court of Kerala graced the occasion with his esteemed presence. Accompanying him were MVS Murthy (Chief Marketing Officer), Baiju Paul (Director, Cleosportz) and other eminent guests.

Prof. Lisy Julius (Jain-deemed to be University, Kochi), Suraj Tom (Founder, Planet Earth), G Poonguzhali (AIG, Coastal Security), Sharath Krishnan and Geethamma (Social media influencers), Olympians K M Binu, Mercy Kuttan, M D Valsamma and senior officials from Cleosportz were also present for the event.
 
The event was also attended by many dignitaries including Chandrashekharan Pillai (Vice President, Indian Athletics), Renji Alex (Zonal Head, Ernakulam), Sureshkumar G (IT, Administration and PMO), Rajesh K G (Ernakulam Zonal Office), Ashik Srinivasan (Joint State Convener, Prathidvani), and Dr Johnson K Varghese (Medical Director, Aster Medcity).

This memorable gathering marked the beginning of a journey that will showcase the beauty of Kerala and the spirit of running, leaving everyone excited for the main event in 2025.

The Federal Bank Kochi Marathon is envisioned as a run to sow the seed of “Eco- consciousness” starting with the citizens of Kochi city. The 2025 edition is scheduled to be held on Feb 09, 2025, featuring a Marathon (42.195 Km), Half Marathon (21.097 Km), 10K and a 3K (Green Run) along the serene backwaters of Kerala. The event also seeks to promote good health & wellness across the state, providing an opportunity for both beginners and seasoned runners to come together and celebrate running.
