About the Scheme

Insurance Protection
Terms and Conditions
- Insurance coverage is provided by Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Limited.
- Customers within the age of 55 to 99 years will be only covered.
- Insurance coverage will be live from the 60th day of customer onboarding (i.e., account opening or upgrade date) and will be valid until the validity date of the policy.
- Cover will be valid only if the customer has maintained the Esteem AMB eligibility criteria for the last three months from the claim date.
- Insurance coverage will be automatically renewed every year if the customer meets the Esteem eligibility criteria.
- Daily Hospital Cash (Accident & illness) – Rs 1000 for 5 days (1-day deductible) **Customers in the age of 99 years will only be covered.

- Claim shall be payable under the policy only if monthly average balance of Rs. 50,000/- is maintained for 3 months prior to the date of loss.
- Waiting Period for Hospital Cash
- Accidental claims shall be reported to the Insurance Company within 45 days of discharge from the hospital.
- The decision of the Bank and ABHIC, as mutually agreed upon, in all matters shall be final and binding on all persons.
- Insurance can be claimed by intimating ABHIC’s call centre- 18002707000 or by e-mail-healthinsurance@adityabirlacapital.com or by writing to ABHIC’s office address along with the following details within 45 days of discharge from the hospital, the hospitalization for which the claim is being intimated:
- COI number of member.
- Name of the group member.
- Name and address of the Insured Person (Group member or the family members enrolled in the Policy) in respect of whom the request is being made.
- Hospital where treatment/Surgery was taken.
- Date of admission and date of discharge or approximate length of stay.
- Any other information that may be relevant to the Illness/ Injury/ Hospitalization.
Claim Submission
The below mentioned claim documents shall be sent to ABHIC on email.

Group Hospital Cash Documents
- Copy of duly filled claim form
- Copy of Photo ID and Age proof
- Channel Partner’s branch attested photocopy of discharge card or day care summary and transfer summary (If applicable)
- Channel Partner’s branch attested photocopy of the final bill to substantiate if ICU benefit has been asked
- Channel Partner’s branch attested photocopy of MLC/ FIR copy, in cases of accident claim only
- Channel Partner’s branch attested photocopy of death summary & death certificate, in cases of death only. It is additionally noted that in case of death, the copy of death certificate mentioned may be submitted only within 60 days from date of death.
